Shhhhhhhhh….Don’t tell anyone we have pizza. And definitely don’t tell anyone we are having a party!!

In this home we absolutely love to read to our kiddos. We also have a place in our hearts for pizza, cake and end of summer PARTIES. This soiree was inspired by the story “ Secret Pizza Party” by Adam Rubin. It’s a staple in our night time reading routine and we couldn’t wait to bring it to life.

The party was customized for the kids “raccoons” (not to say that the adults didn’t indulge as well). Table tops were decorated with vibrant colors and raccoon masks for the kids to wear during their secret pizza party from Geese and Ganders. Creative Amee created the cutest stir sticks stating “I Love Pizza” and “Pizza Is Life”, while Poppy Cart added playful florals throughout. The fringe backdrop by Glamfete brought more color to the bash and entertainment for the kids. Apparently it was a hit for hide and seek later in the evening :)

How do we love pizza? Oh let us count the ways!!! Being that it was a pizza party, the menu was all things pizza! Tons of gooey, cheesy, salty pizza with a crispy crunchy crust that our raccoons went crazy for. Because pizza is life, and life is sweet…..what's a party without sweet treats? Sift Dessert bar created the coolest cake we’ve seen yet. Melted cheesy pizza cake was a huge hit with the littles as well as the adults. Can you blame them?!? We also can't forget about the Raccoon cake pops by Sweets And Treats By Tamar! To top off the sweetness each kiddo received a mini pizza piñata stuffed with all things sweet from Lula Flora Designs.

Regular pizza party…BORNING. Secret pizza party…..AMAZING!

Its the end of summer and what’s one to do?!? Plan a secret pizza party of course!!
